200MBB: Jason Olson, Ambassador Liaison and member since 1992
We continue shining a light on some key volunteers with Jason Olson as our guest on 200 Miles Before Breakfast. Jason – better knows as Jiggs in most circles – is the MOA’s Ambassador Liaison, and he tells us what an MOA Ambassador is and why they’re so important to the membership. He also tells us how we can nominate fellow members for inclusion in the Ambassador program, and all about his journey to BMW motorcycles and the MOA.
200 Miles Before Breakfast is a podcast by, for and about the members of the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America, where you get to know the MOA one member at a time. Listen or download with the embedded player above – and please subscribe! 200MBB is in all the major podcasting apps along with the MOA’s other podcast, Chasing the Horizon. If you know an MOA member we should profile on the podcast, please let us know via email and we’ll do our best to get them on the show. If you’re willing to interview them yourself, we’ll happily supply all the tools you need to make it happen!
John … what can we do to put a BMW back in your garage?? 😉 That’s an impressive collection of boxers over the years!
Today, Aug. 19, 2021, is the first day since 1969 that I have not had a BMW in my garage.
The first of 18, was a 1969 R50/2. Followed by a 1970 R75, then a 1975 R/90S, a 1977100RS
beaucoup G’S’s, up to the last R1200R.
